October 2023, the Glamis Specific Plan EIR was unanimously approved by the Imperial County Board of Supervisors.

 

September 2023, the Glamis Specific Plan EIR was unanimously approved by the Imperial County Planning and Zoning Commission.

September 2023, as a subcontractor to Aarcher Inc. David McIntyre taught a 3-day class on the National Environmental Policy Act in Annapolis, MD.

 

August 2023, Received a Section 404 Clean Water Act permit for Reach 10.1.1 of the Beacon Bisti Route N9 Water Lateral Project on the Navajo Nation.

 

August 2023, McIntyre received Biological Resources Compliance Forms (BRCF) for two water line projects on the Navajo Nation in northern New Mexico. Receipt of the BRCFs will allow the projects to go forward with NEPA and Clean Water Act permitting.

 

May and July 2023, McIntyre performed biological surveys at 64 homesites on the Navajo Nation for development of bathroom additions and sewage treatment lagoons. 

May 2023, McIntyre performed jurisdictional delineations for the Coyote Canyon and Standing Rock  Water Laterals on the Navajo Reservation.

May 2023, McIntyre attended the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP) national conference in Phoenix.

 

April 2023, McIntyre performed focused surveys for the Mesa Verde cactus in support of the Naschitti Chapter Water Lateral on the Navajo Reservation.

January 2023, the Glamis Specific Plan EIR was released for a 50 day public comment period. 

 

January 2023, updated legal guidance from EPA on cumulative impacts for you NEPA nerds out there.

12/1/2022 Received a FONSI for the 46-mile long Beacon Bisti Route N9 Water Lateral Project on  the Navajo Nation  Tribal Lands in New Mexico.

9/25/2022 McIntyre performed jurisdictional delineations for the Naschitti Water Lateral on the Navajo Reservation.

 

9/14/2022 Final EA and Draft Decision Notice for the Chewelah A to Z Project released.

 

8/16/2022 The Imperial County Board of Supervisors approved the Vikings Solar Energy and Battery Storage project which will generate approximately 300 FTE construction positions in Imperial County CA and will have an overall economic benefit of $7+Million for the County. McIntyre Environmental was happy to have supported Imperial County with the preparation of the Environmental Impact Report.

 

8/2 to 8/5/2022 McIntyre recently taught our 5th class on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This class was conducted virtually (3rd time).

July 2022 Draft EA for the Chewelah A to Z Project released.

July 2022 Vikings Solar Energy and Battery Storage EIR approved by Imperial County Planning Commission.

 

6/16/2022  Received a FONSI for the Whitehorse Lake Water Project on Navajo Tribal Lands in New Mexico.

 

5/24 to 5/26/2022 McIntyre recently taught our 4th class on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This class was conducted in Denver.

4/29/2022 Received a FONSI for the Lybrook Loop Water Project on Navajo Tribal Lands in New Mexico.

 

4/15 to 4/18 2022 McIntyre performed jurisdictional delineations for the Sanostee Water Lateral on the Navajo Reservation.

12/16/2021 Happy to announce we were recently added to the list of qualified environmental services providers for the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA).

 

9/25 to 9/27/2021 Looking forward to teaching a class on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) in Annapolis this week.

 

9/8/2021 McIntyre Environmental was awarded a contract to prepare an environmental assessment for the installation of a security fence at the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) at Mississippi State University. 

8/6/2021 The Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife granted a BRCF to Souder Miller and Associates for the development of the Lybrook Loop Project. McIntyre Environmental is pleased to have been able to provide general biological surveys and preparation of biological inventory reports in support of this effort. 

 

7/9/2021 Very happy to be supporting Alaska Power & Telephone Company on the SEALink #submarinecable project - a 214-mile submarine cable - connecting rural communities in Alaska. This combination of marine and terrestrial cable will extend from Prince of Wales Island to Juneau, with an overland crossing on Mitkof Island through the community of Petersburg. The project also involves terrestrial network build-outs in the communities of Coffman Cove and Kasaan, which currently lack broadband service. 48 NORTH is working closely with AP&T and USDA Rural Utility Service (RUS) to provide nepa and environmental permitting support on this RUS ReConnect funded project. 

5/27/2021 The Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife granted a BRCF to Souder Miller and Associates for the development of the Sand Springs Water Project. McIntyre Environmental is pleased to have been able to provide general biological surveys and preparation of biological inventory reports in support of this effort. . 

5/14/2021 The Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife granted a Biological Resources Compliance Form (BRCF) to Souder Miller and Associates for the development of the Beacon Bisti Route N9 Lateral Project. McIntyre Environmental is pleased to have been able to provide focused and general biological surveys and preparation of biological inventory reports in support of this effort. 

4/9/2021 McIntyre Environmental participated in our fifth volunteer effort with Pima County at the Tucson Medical Center (TMC) Point of Dispensing (POD) for the Covid-19 vaccine.

3/8/2021. McIntyre Environmental was recently awarded the Viking Solar Energy and Battery Storage EIR for the Imperial County Planning and Development Services Department. This is the second EIR we are preparing for Imperial County with the first being the Glamis Specific Plan Area EIR which we were awarded last summer. 

2/18/2021 McIntyre Environmental participated in our second volunteer effort with Pima County at the Tucson Medical Center (TMC) Point of Dispensing (POD) for the Covid-19 vaccine.

2/8/2021 McIntyre Environmental participated in our first volunteer effort with Pima County at the Tucson Medical Center (TMC) Point of Dispensing (POD) for the Covid-19 vaccine. We are happy to be able to participate in this effort to help our community. 

 

1/25/2021. McIntyre Environmental was recently recertified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with the State of New Mexico. We currently have three projects ongoing in New Mexico and are looking to add a fourth. Let us know if we can be of any assistance with your project.

10/29/2020 McIntyre Environmental will be hosting a public scoping meeting for the Glamis Specific Plan from 6 to 8 pm in the Imperial County offices in El Centro CA.

 

10/13/2020 McIntyre Environmental is excited to start an Environmental Assessment for the Colville National Forest in Washington State. Continuing to expand our footprint.

3/11/19 Headed to Gallup NM to attend the first of several Chapter meetings related to our new water pipeline projects on the Navajo Reservation.

 

2/13/19 Very pleased to announce that BRG Consulting (Prime) was selected to prepare the Third Party EIR for the 311 Manchester Project, a senior care facility in Encinitas, CA. We are looking forward to working with BRG on this project.

10/24/18 We are pleased to announce that McIntyre Environmental was awarded a Blanked Purchase Agreement by the U.S. Forest Service Region 3 (Southwest) to provide NEPA services. 

10/8/18 We are very pleased to announce that in August McIntyre Environmental, who was teamed with Ecology and Environment (as prime contractor), Galileo Project, and Kearns and West, was an awardee for the BLM's NEPA Services BPA put out by the BLM's National Operations Center (NOC). This BPA is available for use by all Department of the Interior (DOI) agencies as well as the U.S. Forest Service. In addition, in September, McIntyre Environmental, who was teamed with Statistical Research Inc (SRI) as the prime contractor, was recently awarded a 5-year BPA for environmental and cultural resources with the US Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region (small business set aside). Looking forward to more opportunities to do work with these agencies.

 

9/4/18 McIntyre Environmental teamed with Aarcher Inc. to win the preparation of a Comprehensive Management Plan and EA for the Jupiter Inlet Outstanding Natural Area (ONA) in West Palm Beach FL. The ONA was designated by congress in 2008 for the preservation, protection and enhancement of seven key resources and values found on the site; these include the the remarkable biodiversity and rich history of the site. The site is the only unit of the National Conservation Lands east of the Mississippi River, and the only unit managed by the BLM’s Eastern States. 8/28/18 McIntyre Environmental was in Tonopah, NV last week to kick off an oil and gas plan amendment EA for the BLM Battle Mountain District. We are looking forward to working on this great project with our teaming partners, Pioneer Technical Services and RJRudy.

6/21/18 McIntyre Environmental was in San Diego, CA to attend the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) SAn Diego and Orange County Chapters "Camp Pendleton" Day. What a great opportunity to see old friends and clients and make new acquaintences.

4/18/18 McIntyre Environmental will be assisting the BLM Phoenix District Office in facilitating public comment meetings on the Buckeye Hills Travel Management Plan/Environmental Assessment. The two meetings will be held in Buckeye and Maricopa, Arizona on April 18 and 18, respectively. 4/15/18 McIntyre Environmental has been assisting Ericsson-Grant in the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs) under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the City of Calexico, California. 

4/13/18 We are pleased to announce that we are now formally certified as a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

2/22/18 On February 22, Birdseye Planning Group (BPG) was awarded an on call contract by the City of Chandler, Arizona to prepare Housing and Urban Development (HUD) NEPA documents. McIntyre Environmental is a key subcontractor to BPG on this contract. In 2017 BPG was awarded a similar contract for the City of Mesa, Arizona and has begun working on multiple task orders.

 

2/21/18 On February 21, 2018 the Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife granted a second Biological Resources Compliance Form (BRCF) to the Navajo Nation Division of Transportation for the widening of Route N8009 (Rock Point / Round Rock). 11/12/17 McIntyre Environmental attended the Arizona Department of Transportation Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Conference November 8 and 9 at the El Conquistador Resort in Oro Valley, Arizona.

 

McIntyre Environmental was recently awarded a contract modification to do additional biological and NEPA analysis for the Navajo Nation Department of Transportation road widening project for Route N8009.
